London Welcomes President Safa Zaki

Forty international Polar Bears enjoyed an evening with President Safa Zaki at the University Women’s Club in London’s Mayfair neighborhood.
The March 10 event was the twelfth in President Zaki’s welcome tour that kicked off in October 2023. Event host Hongbei Li ’14 delivered a warm welcome and introduced President Zaki. Remarks and a Q&A covered a range of topics including AI and community initiatives to encourage dialogue on campus.
Former Alumni Council president Matt Roberts ’93 was also in attendance along with numerous other past and present alumni volunteers ranging in classes from 1966 through 2024. Several students home for spring break were also in attendance.
